Conclusion

Suluk tribe can mainly be found in Sandakan, Tawau, Lahad Datu, Kota Kinabalu, Kunat, Kudat and Semporna (north-eastern part of Sabah), KL and Johor.Suluk has their unique culture and arts. Dance like for example daling daling dance is well-known amongst the Suluk community. Suluk people have their traditional attires and costumes. Besides, we are aware that there are the importance of preserving the culture as culture is the sum of total of the learned behavior of a group of people that are generally considered to be the tradition of that people and are transmitted from generation to generation.

Reflection on the subject ( Introduction to Malaysian Arts & Cultures)

Diversity of races, religions and cultures is a significant characteristic of our nation. Malaysia is a multiracial country with a rich cultural heritage. We were introduced to Malaysian Arts and Cultures and we have learnt the various arts and cultures in Malaysia. It is vital for the younger generation like us and the future generation to have the exposure to our country's myriad cultures and arts. In addition to that, cultures are like underground rivers that run through our lives and relationships, giving us messages that shape our perceptions, attributions, judgments, and ideas of self and other. Though cultures are powerful, they are often unconscious, influencing conflict and attempts to resolve conflict in imperceptible ways.  We have also watched and enjoyed the performances by different groups. We had different groups that performed dance, sketches, singing, and etc. according to their respective groups' names' cultures. Groups' names were named after the different tribes in Sarawak and Sabah. On top of that, we've learnt the Chinese, Malays and Indians' 'pantang larang' and cultures.
